We hired Today’s Renovators to renovate our basement and we are so glad we did. We really didn’t know where to start in the layout and design but from our first conversation with Steve we knew we had found the person who could help.

We had a lot of space in the basement to work with and we were looking for two bedrooms and a bathroom. Steve and his team had to take down walls, put up walls, dig through cement floors and much more. There was a lot of plumbing work to be done to re-locate the water softener, sulfur filter and re-direct the water intake from our well. And because our house is on a septic system the bathroom they had to dig up concrete and install a pit and pump. The job required a lot of work and expertise to make it work. Steve didn’t hesitate and knew exactly what to do.

Steve is very friendly and easy to work with. One of the things that gave us confidence throughout the project is that Steve was there on a daily basis checking on the progress and quality of the work and talking to us to make sure we were happy with how things were going. I think his prices are fair and there were no surprises when it came time to pay the bill.

Steve took our dark, damp and utterly out of date basement and turned it into a beautiful, bright living space with two bedrooms and a huge “spa-like” bathroom. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

My wife is an avid home show watcher, and through these shows we have come to learn quite a bit about what you should expect, and what you don’t want to experience in a renovation project. I’m glad to say that we had an amazingly positive experience with our renovation and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Today’s Renovators for another project.

They really listened to what my wife and I had to say in regards to how we saw the project turning out. Steve was very attentive and always available when we needed him. His associates who came to our house to do the work were always very professional and never once did we question them being in our home.

During the project there was a few times when a snag would come up, and between Steve, my wife and I we would come up with a solution, and that is where we really started to see Steve’s experience shine through. It was clear that he has done many of these projects before and has had to deal with many different types of clientele, and through all of this, we still felt like we were his only project.

One of the nice things about dealing with a company like Today’s Renovators is that you could be sure to get an honest answer from them, as well as input. On several occasions through conversations with Steve, he made suggestions to our design, which thankfully we went along with, as they only enhanced the overall feel of our project.
